The 2019 Nissan Sentra operates on a 124 hp engine that runs on 125 ft-lbs of torque. The 2019 Nissan Altima has a 248 hp engine and runs on 273 ft-lbs of torque. In terms of engine power and performance, the Altima wins hands down.

In terms of aesthetics, the Nissan Sentra is smaller compared to the Nissan Altima. The Sentra is a compact car and the Altima is a midsize sedan. While both retain a sporty external design, the bigger size of the Altima makes it look much sleeker.
The Nissan Sentra has six available trims: S, SV, SR, SR Turbo, NISMO®, and SL. The Nissan Altima has the following trims available: S, SR, SV, and SL.
The Sentra comes equipped with automatic headlights, 16-inch rims, 4-speaker audio system, USB, back up camera, air conditioning, cruise, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, tilt-telescoping steering wheel, 60/40 divided back seats, and forward collision avoidance.
The 2019 Nissan Altima is more loaded, well equipped with the recent technology to include Bluetooth, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Apple and Android smartphone integration, keyless ignition, automatic braking, four USB ports, and remote begin.
The cabin controls for both cars are easy-to-use. The Sentra is a little smaller than the Altima in terms of leg space and seating, which is designed to be more ergonomically.
